The Penang State Library Reading Carnival was held for 2 days at Seberang Jaya Main State Library. Out of the 10 groups there, Akeetoons was the only group that showcased cartoons and its website. Angkasawan Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor attended both days of the carnival. The carnival attracted a large crowd, mainly school children. Quite a number of people registered themselves as a member of Akeetoons.com. Overall, the response was very good.
